I’ve had this bug a few times on the Facebook iPhone app. It’s occurred when trying to access a link to an Instagram photo.
The content of the error message is somewhat long winded, but what really caught my eye was the option to enter a message and press send. I thought it was quite funny, tried sending a message, but it appeared to go into oblivion.
I posted this on G+ and in humour Sean mentioned that perhaps error messages should allow feedback. It was a joke. I laughed. Then thought about it…wouldn’t it actually be useful for users to send feedback if they wanted to on error messages? Sean writes a bit more about it here.
